2. Data we use
When you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, optional subject and message. For the newsletter, we process your email address, selected language, consent and confirmation status, and relevant subscription timestamps. The hosting provider may process technical server logs, including IP address, browser information, requested page and access time, to operate and secure the website.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Contact-form data is used to answer enquiries and manage professional correspondence. Depending on the enquiry, processing is based on steps taken at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Newsletter data is processed with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Technical logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Newsletter and double opt-in
Newsletter subscriptions use a double opt-in procedure. After submitting the form, you receive an email and the subscription becomes active only after you confirm it using the link in that email. After confirmation, the most recently published newsletter may be sent automatically so that new subscribers can catch up. You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every newsletter. A minimal consent or suppression record may be retained where necessary to honour an unsubscribe request and demonstrate consent.
5. Service providers and transfers
The website and email services are hosted by Hostinger. Brevo is used for newsletter forms, confirmation emails, campaign delivery and the automated delivery described above. These providers act as processors where applicable and process data only as required to provide their services. If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses are used where required. See the Hostinger Privacy Policy and Brevo Privacy Policy.
6. Cookies, visitor statistics and locally hosted fonts
This website currently uses only cookies or similar storage that are technically necessary for operation, security or language preferences. It does not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are hosted locally on this website; loading a page therefore does not require a connection to Google Fonts servers.
Visitor statistics: this website counts visits with Koko Analytics, which runs on this website’s own server. No cookies are used and no data is passed to third parties. To recognise unique visitors, the IP address and browser information are combined into an anonymous code that changes every day and is then deleted; only aggregated figures (for example pageviews per page and referring websites) are kept. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. External links and embedded content
This website may contain links to third-party websites and social networks. A third party receives connection data when you follow such a link. If external media is embedded and loaded, the provider may receive technical data such as your IP address and browser information. The provider’s own privacy policy then applies.
8. Retention
Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer the enquiry and meet applicable legal obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent; minimal consent and suppression records may be kept longer where necessary to prove consent or prevent further mailings. Technical logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s settings.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact sasa.pikija@gmail.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority or the supervisory authority in your country of habitual residence.
10. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website, its services or legal requirements change.
